6 MAKEUP DONT’S
1.DON'T wear full makeup every day. It isn't necessary to wear a full eye design every day … consider a simpler look for your daily life.
2.DON'T skip lip color. Adding a pop of color to your lips can brighten up a washed out face and polish your overall look.
3.DON'T overdo mascara. Clumped mascara is distracting and messy looking.
4.DON'T overdo your eyebrows. Brows that are drawn-on, pencil-thin, overly sparse, strongly arched, or too heavy or thick can make you look older than you really are; plus they can look harsh and dated.
5.DON’T glob on lip gloss. Too much gloss can make it look like you're drooling instead of adding a beautiful shine to your lips.
6.DON'T get carried away with glitter and shine. A little extra shine or glitter can spice up an evening look, but during the day it's just distracting.

TIPS FOR CHOSING EYESHADOW COLOUR
1.Accentuate your shading. When you are contemplating beauty tips and picking eye shadow colors, it is important to consider your eye color and complexion shade. You can intensify your eye color and bring out the best in your complexion with the right eye shadow shades. Rather than matching your eyes exactly, choose eye shadow colors that contrast slightly with your eye color. Brown and gold eye shadows are perfect for blue eyes, and purple shades bring life to green eyes. Choose eye makeup in shades of pink, blue or purple if you have brown eyes. If you have hazel eyes, you can wear just about any eye shadow shade because hazel eyes contain a spectrum of hues.
2.Consider venue and activity. Choosing eye shadow that is best for the time of day, venue and activity is a valuable makeup tip. Bold, dramatic eye shadow is perfect for evening, while subtler shades will work best in many daytime situations. Simple brown, tan, pink and silver eye shadow shades and grey and brown eye liners, mascaras and accent shadows are great choices for work, school and lunch with friends. Bright, highly saturated colors, such as yellow and blue, make a statement and will impress and stand out at parties, nightclubs and dinners. Use your personality and eye shade to choose eye shadow colors and remember to balance venue and activity.
3.Complement your outfit. If you have several eye shadow colors that look great on you and will work for the event and time of day, choose an eye shadow that goes with what you are wearing. Green is red's complementary color, so muted green eye shadow is a good choice when wearing red. Choose a complementary color rather than an eye shadow color that directly matches your outfit. Pink and brown complement each other in a subtle way, while grey and black together make a bolder statement.
4.Keep neutral shades on hand. There will likely be times when you aren't sure which eye shadow to wear. A bold outfit can be tough to match, and creating a natural look is not always easy. Neutral eye shadow shades, such as beige, fawn, tan, light brown and subtle silver, are perfect when you're having a difficult time finding the right shades for you. Subtle, neutral shades look good with almost anything and still enhance your eyes' natural beauty

Blogger:10 CAUSES OF HAIR BREAKAGE AND SOLUTION
Blogger: BEAUTY AND HEALTH MOMENTS - Create post:
1.Overstretching the hair-tight banding or tight braiding can overstretch the hair and lead to weakened strands. be sure you are stretching on damp hair instead of wet hair. Lastly, refrain from using rubber bands or any other harmful hair tie (e.g., cotton) during the drying proces
2.Styling on wet or drenched hair-it may be better to wait until the hair is damp or damp-dry to style.
3.Diet low in protein-Hair largely consists of protein (keratin) which is built from amino acids extracted from foods we put into our body. Incorporate more nuts, chicken, fish, and beans into your diet.
4.Use of sulfate shampoos- Certain sulfate shampoos (containing SLS and ALS) can be harsh on the hair thus weakening the strands. Switching to a gentler sulfate shampoo or a natural shampoo can mitigate this issue.
5.Overexposure to sun:-Hair that was overexposed during the summer months can be showing signs of weakness and breakage in the fall/winter months. Trims are the best way to mitigate this problem
6.Sleeping on a cotton pillowcase- Cotton can be both drying and abrasive to the hair. Sleep on a satin/silk pillowcase or use a satin/silk bonnet to put a stop to this breakage source.
7.Unnecessary change of relaxers and hair products-stick to what is best for u
8.Hair Dye-(constant use of hair dye) results in a condition known as split-ends. Ultimately, this results in hair breakage and hair loss.
9.Excessive Combing or Brushing- If you are obsessed with their hair then get out of the habit quickly. Combing / brushing puts pressure on the roots of the hair, resulting in breakage of hair.
10.Styling Tools -tools like blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons, hot rollers, etc will weaken your hair's cuticle. Limit the frequency of usage and minimize the length of time the heat is in contact with your hair. If you are using heating tools excessively make sure to deep condition your hair on a weekly basis.
